I'm Gavin Watson — born and raised in Oklahoma City, one of seven kids in a family that's been in real estate here for three generations. My grandfather founded the family brokerage in 1978, my dad took it over in 1986, and I grew up watching what it actually looks like to take care of people through the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
After Christian Heritage Academy, I had college opportunities in basketball and golf — but chose insurance instead. I got licensed and spent the next three years as an independent agent at a local OKC agency, learning every part of the business: selling, servicing, and retaining a real book of clients. In late 2024 I married my wife, Emma, who's been the reason I had the conviction to go out on my own. I founded Empire Insurance Group, LLC in July 2025.

No. If we find you a better policy, I handle the new application, coordinate the start date with your old policy's end date, and make sure there's no coverage gap. You get a refund for any unused premium from the old carrier.
